Hansa, I apologise if you felt I was being sharp. Not intended, as I hope you understood from my later email. This re-worked version works better...though I'd still like to see those capitals!
The point about only lower case being used is well taken, but I do still feel that the capital letter has its place, lends definition and some elegance to the text. It makes the text easier to read, as sentence beginnings are clearly defined. On the whole I am in favour of anything short of banality that makes poetry easier to read for the common man. So being extremely obscure in meaning is to be avoided, and if you are going to eliminate the use of capitals, then perhaps you could use line breaks instead. I don't think prose reads well without capitals, the eye becomes bored with uniformity, and the attention wanders. Perhaps I'm prejudiced because at one time I was a graphics designer, and I love capitals, judiciously used.
