Look - this is a mystery poem. a "confessional" in the form of a "whodunit".
Sorry to sound corny but is it that the lovers are entwined like gems - arm in arm rendering real jewellery useless : a mere surplusage? The real gift is in the relationship and not in insensate albeit shiny metals and stone. Am i right in thinking so or am i way off the mark. Kindly tell
