Why does everyone need to be compatible with Linux?? Why not Linux
changes its license and be compatible with *BSD and Solaris??

I really see no point wasting Open Solaris resources to keep ZFS dual
licensed. And frankly, it would be mostly Sun's resources. I would
rather like to spend those resources on something more important.
