We looked at the iRAM a while back and it had decent performance, but I was wary of deploying it in remote datacenters since there was no way to monitor the battery status. IIRC the only indicator of a bad battery is an LED on the board face, not even on the bracket, so I'd have to go crack open the machine to make sure the battery was holding a charge. That didn't fit our model of maintainability, so we didn't deploy it.
