Israel, as I understand it, was not able to participate in the Melchisedek priesthood so it stands to reason there were no Melchisedek temples in Israel. What do you'all think?

Here is the question I cannot answer: Was Solomon's temple an Aaronic temple or a Melchizedek temple? I think it was an Aaronic temple, but I don't remember where I picked up that information. Maybe it was Doctrines of Salvation by Joseph Fielding Smith.
Another question: Were there any Melchizedek temples in ancient times? How about in the early Christian church? Were their sealings or Endowments in New Testament times? If so, were those sealings or Endowments performed in Melchizedek temples?
