What is available to get there? If I go, I will more than likely drive,
even though it is 16-18 hours one way. If I do drive it will allow me to
bring 3 computers total. One running Suse Linux, one with Windows Media
Edition 2005, and a laptop with XP. If it is needed, since this
conference is a Linux one, the laptop could have Suse Installed for the
conference but the other cannot.
What we would need besides your presence:
* collateral
* cdroms
* banner
* t-shirts
* giveaways?
* anything else?
I can burn 50 to 100 CDs for this, these can go even if I cannot make it.
What would be really great is if we could do a demo of OOo there. We
need a professional demonstration of what OOo is and what it does. If
you want to help here, please! Be creative, be original, and make it
fun :-) The basic idea: A presentation or scripted demo that
demonstrates OOo's ease and power.
If someone can create the demo's in Impress, it would not be a problem
to run it on one of the above mentioned machines.
