It actually kind of does work. Just don't hit the Start button on the 2nd instance of PowerSDR or a singularity will occur. ;-)

You could also open up two copies of PowerSDR (the old and the new) and
tile them on your screen.  Then, you can look at your old settings and
manually enter them into the new version.  This would save you the steps
of having to make screen shot files.
