I guess I am thinking about this a little differently. If IPSwitch had partnered with Scott, we would probably be paying more for Declude by buying it through IPSwitch since they would have to add their profit. And quite possibly that would become the ONLY way to buy Declude due to a restrictive agreement to which Scott would be bound.
By offering Declude and the virus scanner of your choice, we have an alternative, flexible, and most likely LESS expensive option that we all know works. Personally, I'm glad I have the choice to buy Declude from Scott and use a copy of McAfee that we already have licensed. Oh yeah...don't forget the unprecedented support we get from Scott on this list. Do you think we'd get that kind of support if we had to call IPSwitch any time we had a problem with Declude? ;-) --Todd. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeff Reinhardt" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, November 20, 2001 3:04 PM Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] OT: Defend Declude!
