Well Scott, I personally have been very disappointed in Ipswitch the last couple of years. When we first purchased Imail back in 1996, I was overjoyed at the product (we were having major problems with the former mail server) and support that Ipswitch gave. I was so impressed that when I needed monitoring software I did not hesitate to purchase WhatsUp. I did not even look for other products, and WhatsUp and now WhatsUp Gold have also been excellent products. About 2 years ago or so, a whish list was circulated on this list at the urging of Ipswitch. As far as memory serves me, almost none of the top 10 made it into version 7. I wish I had kept a copy of the emails and I gave up searching that far back in the archive. Ipswitch seems to no longer care about the quality customer service they once offered. I even gave up on calling their support line for help as I know more that the people they have answering the phones. So, the fact that Ipswitch did not contact you for either a partnership or just to be a neighbor does not really surprise me any more. I have come to the conclusion that when (not if) we need major help with Imail, we will be looking for another server program. Imail itself is still a stable product even if the company is out in left field... as a result, I do not see us changing any time soon.
