Grab a copy of the Device Characteristics, SPRS717, for the AM335x.
Chapter 5 has the electrical parameters. You can chase pins from the ZCZ
ball
to the section of table 5.7 that looks at that pin. A short and
incorrect answer
is that logic 0 is less than .8VDC and a logic 1 is greater than

Hello, I'm interested in getting I2C working on the Beaglebone Black while
running RTEMS 4.10. I basically need to write an I2C driver from scratch.
I need to start the I2C subsystem myself. I am looking at the AM335x

Thanks Robert,
Letting your jessie image update itself brought python to the latest 2.7.9
version which is a good news.
Is there any write-up on BBB jessie? I see that wheezy serial port naming
/dev/ttyO* was replaced by the traditional /dev/ttyS*
Thanks, Enoch.

Thanks; just thinking ahead.

still only lists 2.7.8...
Hello,
I'm trying to make a sgx installation package according
BeagleBoardDebian#SGX_BeagleBone

I wish to get some mDNS service operating so that I can get the BBB to
interact with TI cc3200 SimpleLink mDNS services.
Using the current Debian Image 2015-03-01, do I need to install packages?
If so, which? If not, is there a good reference to getting it to work on
this image.
I'll continue
Hi:
I would like to know (preferably from a datasheet or similar) the *input
voltage ranges* that would equate to a '*logic low*' and a '*logic high*'
for the BBB?
Here is an example of what I am talking about:
See the sub topic *Arduino Logic Levels* on the page titled 'Logic Levels' (
How about an LED with a series resistor from 3.3V to ground? Pin 9-3 or
Pin 9-4.
If the BBB is powered up, there is 3.3V there. If the BBB has no power,
there is not 3.3V there?

For more options,
I really didn't expect that to work since the 5v ports stay powered after a
shutdown. However, I went ahead and tried it and you are absolutely right.
The 3v ports go dark after a shutdown.
That is exactly what I need. Thanks!
