IIRC, KISS mode should be used completely under software control. IOW, the software puts the TNC into KISS mode and takes it out of KISS mode. KISS mode is not really for manual operation, the software you use in KISS mode determines what the TNC does and how it does it. Jeff -- KE7ACY
