H E L P - hours spent on this so far and no joy:-( >From the Accounts Receivable or Sales ledger view... (can't remember which)... - I selected a customer invoice and duplicated it.- it asked for a date and id number- I entered the date but not the id number as I thought it would auto increment

If it turns out you can't edit it, then some sort of reversing transaction should be in order. However, doing that manually might be as equally problematic. (there is also a 'create reversing transaction' in one of the menus) I'd ask Geert, John or someone else to chime in on how best to adjust
