My 1/2 cent. I run Imail w/AV and Norton CE along with the Imail
rules/kill/control access. I haven't had a virus get through in over 2
years(knocking on wood this min.). There are alot of configs you can dwell
on. Truth is, whatever you think is best for you and cost efficent then
that's what
.
My question is what can I do to modify the From: field. This is how it's
looking right now [EMAIL PROTECTED]; on behalf of;

This may seem confusing to some of our users. So what I want to do is change
this so it appears as From: CDB720FIXES without all the other owner
I am just wondering when IPSwitch is going to include an global address book
feature in their product. Don't they realize that small business's need this
feature? The work around works but very poorly(loosing connectivity, not
holding user parameters, etc...). Internal or external database makes
/removing accounts. In my mind,
much better and more usable than a standard global address book.
oh, and is an online phone directory for us as well.

Trust me, I feel your pain Josh. Our setup here is not elaborate by any
means. It's just that PAB's are fine for ISP's with users(subscribers) doing
what they do. However, organizations need a more robust way of managing
their contacts. And yes, it's a pain to have to create a user every time
Is anyone else experiencing similar abnormalities?
Yes, everyone has this problem. Unfortunately I know of no way around this
and it appears no effort was made to correct this v8.0. It's seems this
issue Ipswitch is not interested in fixing.

I want to set up an IMgate/postfix machine and I am wondering if there are
any updated install instructions for version 5.0? I see Len's old
instructions for 4.3 and they seem to be different. Therefore, I am not sure
that I went thru the 5.0 installation correctly...Any help is appreciated...
Ok, I asked this a while back and had no response so I will ask again. Is
anyone using OL2000 as an Imail client along with LDAP? If so, have you had
any problems with OL2000 not getting responses from LDAP? I close OL2000 and
restart it and it works fine for a while then dies again. OS is Win98(I
an incompatible
version of wldap32.dll in c:\windows\system. After that everytime Outlook
2000 does an LDAP lookup it dies. If you restore an older version of
wldap32.dll it works fine.
