Ah, OK, that will undoubtedly help with the lack of knowledge of MXit

I upgraded from Pidgin 2.6.1 because our ICQ and Yahoo accounts were not
functioning. The upgrade solved the Yahoo issue, but ICQ is still not
functioning and now Jabber is not working either. I have tried disabling

Paul,
Thanks so much for this email. I was having a similar problem when I
downloaded 2.6.1 and installed it on my WinXP machine--couldn't connect
with my company's XMPP chat server. Downloading the libpurple.dll you
recommended did the job.

Two questions this thread brings up, I don't know if it's open for
discussion or just a question for the mods..
The common 'protocol' is to reply to the group.

No. However, you may find help in one of the following places:
http://devzone.mxit.com/trac/libpurple/
http://devzone.mxit.com/forum/libpurple/
This, second, URL is wrong. It is the one on their Wiki, but it leads
to a no such forum

I agree there. I still have to go through and reconfigure a few of my

makes sense.

Hello,
i guess that you provide the libpurple under GPL. In this case we
can't use in our produkt goober.com, because that is not open source
software.
could we buy a licence to use your libpurple in goober?
Best regards,
