When a Richie Hawtin tour (FUSE) of Australia blew out, Richie recommended Claude instead; it was his first time DJing outside the US. He lived in Adelaide, where he loved the laid-back lifestyle, for three months in the early 90s, hanging out with HMC, the Juice crew and GT. He crashed at GT's; and GT got him a residency - I forget the venue. Back then GT was more into the hip-hop side of things - he was a hip-hop DJ - so they had a lot in common musically and just hit it off. He's still friends with that crew. Cheers Cyclone
