Unlike some people, apparently, I really liked Kenny's "Keys Strings &
Tambourines" album. I could see how people might not like it, but I
could also see around that corner as it were.

But this new track "Sketches" is killing me. He stretches out for 10
minutes with a combination of extreme trackiness and barely controlled
chaotic effects. The swing on the drums just slays me. He controls the
drama while still sounding like he's jamming it out live. It has the
feel of those classic Paperclip People 10 minute slow burn tracks.

The Schlomi Aber version is pretty good too, but somehow lacks the
juice that Kenny's version has -- it's a little more straight ahead.
Kenny's version sounds like it's something to drop on a hot night at
the Works, the Schlomi Aber version sounds like something to play at
Berghain. If you know what I mean.
