Cyclone Wehner:

I've been listening to heaps of Cerrone of late - I think he's the >bomb...
...Anyway, what are Cerrone's definitive albums?

Yes I like his work too. All the stringy stuff and his Kongas project too. I have an LP, a soundtrack which name I don't remember since it was something french, but it's something like '78/'79 period, and it has a killer synth bass-track, from where the bassline was ripped directly to EDC's "No pills" on Tink! records. Was Orlando Voorn behind that EDC project? Anyway, all he's done is used a different sound but the bassline is the same.

And of course Cerrone's record covers are classics in their own right, with nude women and our "hero" in his pyjama!!! Or is that a karate suit? However, in "Cerrone's paradise" LP cover, there's a naked woman on top of a fridge (!?), and on the floor there a bottle with some white powder in it!!! Some disco nose candy perhaps? ;)
