Red Bull Music Academy is a series of collaborative workshops and festivals that’s been running for 20 years now.
In a different city each time, it’s run in two parts. One is for the public - music and art installations, lectures (like the one you mention), club nights. The other is an invitation only programme where talented individuals are teamed with industry pros to collaborate in a large recording studio venue. What started it all? Red Bull simply wanted to develop a way of fostering the discourse of underground music and dance culture.
