I think its cool. Good for him.(like OUR opinions matter to him:P)

As long as the commerical runs he'll have income to depend on, besides the base. I think if this happened to any of us, we'd be pretty geeked. And at least they are working together rather than Ford taking the track and making some hideous, blatent knock off and then trying to get away with it like innocent, guilty school kids(coughSony).

Though I'm against Ford fully wanting to take over the DEMF, as *rumored* at one point, its still good for Juan.

Focus' are good cars too, so its better than giving it to something like Kia or whatnot.

> New Ford Focus Commercial Features Ground Breaking Juan Atkins' Techno Hit
>
>
> DETROIT, Nov. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The new Ford Focus commercial will
> feature
> breakbeat tunes of renowned Detroit techno artist Juan Atkins. The
> advertisement breaks November 11. With techno music moving beyond the
> underground club scene, Ford brings back the origins of this cutting-edge
> music style by utilizing the electro track "No UFOs." The thirty-second
> "Detroit Techno" spot will premiere on MTV Networks and will air for one
