I wasn't really damning it, it just interested me... But I personally like vinyl because it is tangible, and highly manipulated via the simplest process-using your fingers...
I don't stick with it for sentimental reasons, its the simplicity that attracts me... Oh, and your record will never crash, or you needle with never have an irq conflict... But by all means, download and mix!!
