Well, I have my Technics altered to +/-12. May be too wide for some but I
like to pitch a lot of stuff *down*. Have you ever tried mixing
boogie/phylyps track 2? Each to their own. It makes the pitch adjusts super
responsive, too. Which is great if you want to get stuff so near locked a
tap either way will catch up a meandering beat. Not for the faint hearted,
though. I now find +/-8 a pice of p**s, which is nice. +/-15 allows for a
smooth transition between 33rpm and 45rpm (33x1.15=37.95>37.4=45x0.85 for
the mathematicians) which is why yer Technics will allow that as your
maximum adjust.
