Is the problem with 'lack of support' actually a "lack" of support, or just
less enthusiastic support than artists receive in other countries?  I don't
think Americans take music as seriously as Europeans... Particularly techno
and other forms of electronic music.s

Latest issue of XLR8R has Stacey on the cover, and a hard-hitting interview 
wherein he bemoans the lack of support artists of his calibre/ilk generally 
receive in the US domestic music market. Home truths or sour grapes? You be 
the judge. 

There's also a gently-outspoken Larry Heard interview that's just been 
published, either in this issue or the new URB one--can't quite recall. 
Talks about dropping Jeff Lorber's "Rain Dance" as the opening/backing track

to some of the weekend tv news broadcasts he supplies the music for at his 
daytime job. Always was a subliminal kind of guy...
