it cant be covered at all through state farm even alone. hence, i am looking to see who else will only cover the equipment.

If State Farm won't cater to your insurance needs, shop elsewhere for home owners/renters insurance. It's cheap and I've never heard of exclusions to policies like this, although many auto policies have a limit or restriction on stolen CDs in cars.
