then how would you explain the abundance of "big names" the first year of the
DEMF when a big name corporate sponsor wasnt even dreamed of?
so far the very first year of the DEMF was the best. no corporate sponsors,
and no over inflated expectations. just Carl Craig with a Rolodex® full of
talented friends willing to pitch in and make something special happen in
Detroit.
It's not the lack of corporate money that keeps Kevin, Derrick, Kenny, Carl,
Stacey and many others from performing this year. they (we) all got paid quite
well for performing that first year *without* Fords millions.
