the sound quality of mp3s may be compromised to some degree. but so is the sound quality of most of my records. half of my vinyl is over ten years old, and a lot was bought second-hand on the streets after spending a few years in a flooded basement in brooklyn. final scratch would probably increase the sound quality of stuff i play. james www.jbucknell.com
