I quite like that other stuff, but the Soha stuff feels like a completely
different animal, whereas a lot of the other stuff on Africanism feels
"normal", I guess, if some of the best "normal" house you'll hear.

You can hear a sample here: http://www.versatilerecords.com

Julien Jabre is 1/2 of Soha (above) with DJ Gregory. They also have records
on Basic recordings. You can hear samples of that stuff here:
http://www.basicrecordings.com and click on the "basic player" link. They
have a bunch of stuff alone and together there. http://vinyl-junkies.co.uk
seems to have a good deal of this stuff in stock.

Also, there's a new one on http://www.basenotic.com although you'll need to
find the RA samples at a store.

I have to thank Gerald for turning me on to these guys. His weekly show,
Equinox @ http://www.DJShows.com is a great source for new gems. Just peruse
his tracklists if you have any doubts.
