that's the first Girls on Top 7". came out over a year ago i think. the
b-side has a rather fetching combination of TLC "No Scrubs" over the top of
Human League "Being Boiled". the second Girls on Top 7" features Adina
Howard "Freak Like Me" over Gary Numan "Cars" (later re-recorded by Richard
X aka Girls on Top using teenage pop temptresses Sugababes to do the vocals)
and some Missy track on the other side i think.
anyways... Detroit... i didn't know Laura at all, aside from her posts to
the list, but i still found myself playing KDJ's "In Loving Memory" last
thing before i went to sleep the last 2 nights. strange.
anyone got any thoughts on that new Carl Craig remix of Floppy Sounds on
Wave? sounds pretty good to me! deep brooding C2 goodness!
