yeah i know lots of people who still prefer morgan's earlier techno stuff..i
like it as much as anything else he's done.
that some producers could've made a career out of; unfortunately, except
for
some of the other Environ material, it looks to have been a bit of a
one-off. Maybe I'm just a sucker for that sound, but
no not a one off at all, morgan does brilliant techno on ep's like:
quadrilocular - metamorphic '94
etymon - metamorphic '95
environ 1,2,3,4
an ep on the defunct multiplex (denmark) i'm forgetting the title of..very
good..
2 records on fragmented, both excellent..
21/22 trace elements 3
and yeah a track or two on those 21/22 fusion tapes..
suggesting this is "blackmail" material is insane, they are some of the
dopest melodic techno songs ever made..i dont think morgan looks down on the
old stuff just moved on, and really i think the stuff he is doing on
metamorphic lately and recent remixes arent that much removed from his old
sound...
the only one morgan did that is blackmail material is under the name "ghee",
a track that came out on an australian label and is some really goofy
stuff...im probably gonna get in trouble for mentioning it!
darshan had a few solo releases as well...he has come a long way..
