Steve, seriously... Didn't Ben just ask you to "tell us why you think this way"? That doesn't sound like an attack. It seems that the point here, per your last sentence, is that 'what you really think' seems, at the very least, bizarre to the majority of the people here. No, that doesn't make it wrong. You are most certainly entitled to any stand you choose. But it does come off as such a severely unfounded, nonsensical rambling that you either get things like "you're an idiot" or some version of 'what the f*ck are you talking about?'. You shouldn't be surprised by either and the fact that you are lends us to lean more toward the former in that last sentence than the latter. Talk to a group, expect some of them to talk back. Are you even referring to the Plus 8 of the last 5 years? Because it doesn't look a thing like the era previous to that. None of which really matters. Sorry, but your assertion that all this carrying on is because your opinions hit too close to home just isn't the case. No one cares. You've just been getting all this attention because what you've chosen to publicly opine about is somewhat akin to aggressively arguing the merits of sharp vs. medium sharp cheddar cheese.
