I've got a set of his from around 3 years ago when he played Glasgow
Art School and also his DMC mix form 1987 which is a hoot. This will
be the first time he's played in the states since his relocation there
so go if you can- I doubt you will be dissapointed
cheers

Im especially fascinated by Orlando Voorn, I heard he won some kind
of World DJ Championship back in the late 80's... Does anyone have a
Voorn set archived? CD-R? I'd really like to hear a set of his!
paging senor bruntonio! he hooked me up with a orlando @ mazzo
set....his skills are dope...lotsa quick cuts etc...the mix starts off
wayyy hot...but then it gets into more typical minimal techno, nice
enough, but the tracks at the beginning are dope..maybe it's on
soulseek? maybe it could be ;)
and y'know shake can bring it too....i'd really love to see a shake
mix-cd someday...i can't think of any mixes that compete at all with
shake's track selection and action on the ttables...disco to techno to
rock to hiphop and back again and making it sound like it was meant to
go together...a polished, retail-tight mix would be awesome...c'mon
k7...
yeah that whole night sounds like a blast...guess pure sonik is gonna
start releasing again once alan settles in in chicago?
