You can't get Ethiopian in Detroit any longer, have to go to Windsor (via Tunnel Bus) to Marathon, but the price is right and the food is great.
Noteworthy downtown spots include: Cafe D' Troit (on Library street) for good sandwiches, cheap Odawala bars, and free wireless internet; Detroit Beer Co. (on Broadway) for excellent micro-brews and nice eats for all tastes.
