jason is on Rong # 5. Which is MUDD, who just did a mix of a track on Bear Tracks or Hairy Claw, the labels that Steve "Fella" Kotey runs [Chicken Lips]. It's all very good, rough, yet smooth disco edit / stuff.

Jason is also curator of the PS1 WarmUp series [for the past 3 years]... a $5 urban "beach" party at PS1, the public school converted into a gigantic art space.. with courtyard, a LOUD ASS SOUNDSYSTEM, and hot people abound. Last year he brought Rich, Traxx, Nicky Siano, Joakim, and many more.

Which this season will feature Chicken Lips, MadLib + Peanut Butter Wolf, Scissors Sisters, The Kooky Scientist + yours truly [24 July 2004], and a very special Movement organizer + seminal NYC house producer + engineer + remixer of Kraftwerk + Donna Summer...

so yes, Jason is alive + kicking and up to a hell of a lot of good.

fyi, spun is also making records as thick as thieves, along with ben
cook..real nice disco re-edits!
i see on discogs they had an album out on noid a few years ago too, anyone
heard?
looking forward to hearing the rong stuff

Wow, Jason is still playing.. I haven't heard about him in years. On the west coast, for several years Spun was the one of few out of town DJ's who
was around regularly.

I just recently discovered Rong music... does Jason Drummond have any mid
CDs or anything like that for sale or download?

peace
