from Rob Hood in Glasgow 2004 (brillant DJ set BTW, thanks to whoever
sent this link to 313, great mix of killer classics alongside new stuff
and harder stuff) starts about 1:52:30
male house vocal, with some almost basic-channel-ey sounding club house
behind it... sounds like a vaguely familiar voice but it sounds like
it's pitched up a bit so I can't tell. a chunk main vocal parts are:
"if that don't make you happy, i don't know, i don't know (chorus,
repeats)
and if this world were mine, mine to give
i would name it, your love, i'd do anything
girl, what i can do for you
what i can do to make your dreams come true...
i been trying and tryin and tryin, to make your dreams to come true
where there's a will there's a way
cause I been thinkin bout you everday"
-----------------------------------------
and for that matter, what's the track after it that starts at like
1:57.... another vocal house number.
c'mon Placid this one's for you..
any listmembers make it to this Glasgow gig, BTW? Jason B ? Was it
as red hot as this recording sounds? Great energy, and Hood is so
goddamn PRECISE in the mix with this old sh!t it's amazing to hear him
hold these mixes locked down tight and super funky.
phew...
