yeah, mine are handled under my renter's insurance and I didn't itemize anything. if you do itemize, the insurance cost can increase. pictures are important because they can at least prove an estimate of how many pieces you own. then you could estimate an average 'per piece' replacement cost. some people say to include a daily newspaper somewhere in the photos, "proving" the date that the pic was taken.
