Francis>Having "vinyl exchange on our doorstep" is a mixed blessing. Example; I >took the original Designer Music EP with "Good Girls" on there (and got the >usual disappointing amount of money [=£0] for it) when it came out as I >didn't like it.
Yeah, see what you mean. It's handy if you're skint though and need cash fast. Thats why they have so much good stuff going through there. I've sold untold mad stuff in there thats worth $$$ over the years. (like my entire collection in about '95 for a start) Remember when eastern bloc was closing and they had that "everything in the basement £1 sale"? Me and my mate went through everything, ha! we went about 3 days on the run, were pulling stuff out of there and going straight over the road and flogging it. We found that many copies of the "U Can Dance If You Want To" double pack on kdj and the deepest shade of techno LP that they wouldn't take them anymore! We thought we were soooooo clever! Just cos we were making about £3 on each record! Of course, now that kdj thing goes for £100, I'm thinking "you pair of muppets". Swear to god we had at least 10 sealed copies of that.... Bah. Hindsight. A wonderful thing. btw Francis, did you send a map to dave, we couldnt work out where it came from....? _________________________________________________________________ --------------------- End of message text -------------------- This e-mail is sent by the above named in their individual, non-business capacity and is not on behalf of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
