The way I see it is, Adverts could be a great source of funding for "underground" artist - we never get any radio play and will probably never reach the shelf in HMV - creative ad people want music that stands out, not the pop pap in the charts - it makes sense that they turn to us.

I guess a lot depends on what the advert is but personally I'd find it quite funny to hear one on my tracks, with added minty fresh smiles. It's kinda like people finding it odd/strange that Mad Mike plays golf, man even Jimi Hendrix had to boil an egg at some point. The starving artist is no fun I can tell you. I reckon that as long as your integrity is intact, go for it...
