He's played in Charlotte twice and it was EXTREMELY boring. He didn't
even play the extreme minimal stuff here. He played a bunch of
Overly-produced stuff similar to his productions at that time.

But like the first guy said the girls were loving it. I left after
about 45 min. both times.

out and then quick mixes out. I was kinda shocked, he tours europe and
plays like this? Maybe his live sets are where he makes his name? On
the plus side,

no, jeff is an awesome dj, he must not have been trying hard that night.
i remember stories of a party in ohio (where he's originally from) years
ago, where he was impressing even titonton -- he can mix pretty quick
and has a real good sense of what fits together (or at least he used
to). i still have an old tape of his from 96 or 97, great stuff,
chancellor, rob hood, convextion, cristian vogel before he went noise,
old morgan geist stuff...it's a fantastic mix, tho he was hating on it
after not too long...

unofrtunately, i think his taste has devolved some, but maybe thats
because i agree that that kompakt/traum/etc minimal stuff gets real
boring...he used to play more melodic and funky stuff...

blah blah

ps where's alex?
