Hi Darnistle,
the Molecule lp is one of may favourite 'recent' Hood releases - dark and
groovy, like you still, but still full of lovely bleep-iness.
I wish more Monobox stuff came out, it's a wicked project!
Regarding the several remixes that came out, my personal recommendations are
the Villalobos remix (http://www.discogs.com/release/224218)
the Matthew Dear and Ultrakurt remixes
(http://www.discogs.com/release/233015) and also the less 'trendy' sounding
Substance remix (http://www.discogs.com/release/291502)
depending on your personal media preference, you may want to pick up the cd
of all the remixes (http://www.logisticrecords.com/en/record.php?id=64)
happy Purim/Easter,
fab.

OOOHHHH, THIS IS GOOOOOOODDD!!!!!!!!
Just picked up "Molecule" today and I am tres pleased! At first I was
surprised by how understated the music is. Its subtle, dark and groovy,
though not as vigorous as I've come to expect from Robert Hood. Just
stripped down, pulsating-twilight music. How yummy!!
Now I'm really eager to hear the remix album. I can just imagine what
Pantytec, Matthew Dear et al would do to these tracks...;)
