Mike personally doesn't give two hoots about being on Radio One but
he has a lot of mouths to feed and the main reason for this tour is
to help feed those mouths and increase general public perception of
UR- he DOES care about those people and so I can't see any reason why
he would veto or morally object to a radio broacast of this kind-
if Mike was doing things on his own terms for this tour then
A: it would never happen because he hates touring
and
B: He would be playing at Club 69, T-Funkshun, Traffic and other
small clubs across the world and not meat markets like The Arches,
Shine etc etc
cheers

True, but not everyone can get to Liverpool + a Breezeblock

Whether you think they should be reaching a wider audience is
another story, though my impression is that UR themselves wish to
do so.
Mike does things on his own terms as far as I can tell and probably
wouldn't give two sh1ts about being on Radio 1...
