Maybe, but it's been done - and they usually fetch a higher bin price.
The boots of Alexander Robotnick's "Problemes D'Amour" (back with Night Moves' 
"Transdance") are reportedly done by Benelux, the label which put both of those 
sides out. I have no inside info, so I don't know if that's true OR if Pickton 
did his own Likemind "reissues"...I do know I bought them right from him, 
though and that it was the scuttlebut that he did it.
Forced Exposure in the US is handling the Musicology 12"s - not that it means 
anything per the issue of who is responsible for them. Seems to me that a 
decent boot in a short run might fetch a higher sticker price in the bin than 
other methods. Not that I am making the case that the artist in question would 
get those proceeds, but it isn't beyond the pale in terms of motivation.
