yeah, sorta. i guess he is pretty full on into that sound now...but i heard 
some set from late 2005 (maybe i grabbed it here) and it was pretty good...not 
all clicky lifeless minimal stuff, some variety, and really smart mixing that 
made it entertaining enough. and just because he plays with those people doesnt 
mean too much. i have been booked to play with neill landstrumm and ark and 
others that i have only very generalized similarities to..

i dont think anyone is hating on dan at all? he's one of the bright spots!
but the hate is because that trendy minimal stuff sucks real hard. it's a 
typical sub-sub-genre where its trendiness and specificness means you are in 
danger of hearing hour long sets of nothing but that sound (which again is such 
a specific sound it gets samey and boring quick unless you are a nut for 
it...zzzz)....but i don't mean to pre-judge...and oh well..
