He explained the term at the Red Bull lecture last Thurs - you may  
wanna keep an eye on www.redbullacademy.com cos they may archive it.  
He said it was the "offspring" of techno.

So isn't Hi-Tech-Soul just his take on what Techno is? If it's his  
take,
then what he plays is therefore Hi-Tech-Soul. I've not really heard  
the
term used much but I think it kinda sums up Techno quite well (without
wishing this to turn into what is Techno thread!)
