It might be worth noting that the genre of Acid is now 20 years old. It's incredible to think that give or take a few dips here and there, a genre that manifested from experimenting with a Bass emulator (? - sorry you have to forgive my technical ignorance) is still going. There's something unique about it that I guess still sounds distinct after 2 decades - and it holds true to a certain extent about techno's origins about futuristic music. It retains that element.
