I will if, after seeing how the "Detroit" stage and the line-up pans out, I
feel they're going off the mark.
Last year I did vote with my wallet. I didn't go specifically because I
thought their direction was rather questionable, money making or not.
It's too bad they're under no obligation to remain true to the ideology and
intentions of the original purpose of the festival. That's why I suggest
they change the name to PEMF if that's the way they wish to progress.
I think this year I would actually attend the festival that Carol Marvin
does (gasp!) even though it's primarily a Christian music festival. That
line-up had more Detroit artists than the DEMF. Hopefully they'll do it
again.
