That's why businesses actively try to *create* demand first. 'The Next
Big Thing' and all that... Also witness programs like 'Pop Idol',
'Starmaker' etc. (dunno if there's a US equivalent). If Sony, Universal
et al. wanted Himalayan panflute music to sell well, they could, they
have the marketing clout to pull it off. 

The fact that they don't do it for techno... *shrug*... Their loss. It
gives us the chance to do it our way. And the fact that we've succeeded
so far pretty much without them... it pisses them off to no end. I like
:)
