This is half of the machine memory, should be plenty for the OS, I have run 
this way OK. It also depends on if he is running windows or Mac

Agreed if he is only using one size machine and it can be turned off, otherwise 
I would totally recommend adaptive cache (that is why it is there). If he can't 
turn it off running compiled no problem, it is only used to come up with the 
cache number. In his case it would be 1536 instead of 2048.

I created a new v13.6 app, 20 seconds was permitted.
