As mentioned in Ortwin's link, the Widget and the WPro area are separate. Another alternative would be to put the Widget in a floating window OPEN WINDOW and DIALOG(*). Most parts of the Widget worked when I tested that (I think I had to use the variable name), but there were problems with the Expressions page.
