hello i consider using a laptop for "live" performance. however, I remember having read severeral times, taht the alsa support for usb and firewire audio card is not as much advanced as for PCI cards.
I will check the ALSA matrix, but if someone successfully uses a external audio card with a laptop, I would gladly know about the product of choice, and experimented in time. I would prefer more than one analog setero output, but that's only a preference. thanx.
