Hmm. A graphic toolbox for configuring audio stuff generally would be 
very nice. I've been working on an idea for a PyGtk wrapper for aadebug 
as a programming exercise, which could possibly be extended in this way. 
My Python skills are pretty basic, so what I have would probably only 
serve as a  rough model. However, writing a function to add a couple of 
lines of code to a text file, probably isn't going to be that difficult. 
Hmm.

Just thought I'd mention it.
