This is what kept me from using 64 Studio while the | hardware manufacturers still tried to fix the bios. I had a similar experience with my HP laptop. The motherboard also does not support any wireless cards other than broadcomm, which is dumb since it is a standard mini PCIe so it is easily swapped. The moral of the story is that bad hardware will cripple you regardless of the OS. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFIYQ7/wRXgH3rKGfMRAsQgAJ9bzQsQAhNyCsCKdDZvYzLi0RN+FwCfUnZ0 FaaYd0ExuGMbwFDzNmRPifw= =9+Pf -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ 64studio-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.64studio.com/mailman/listinfo/64studio-users
